Project Overview
For this assignment, I created a concept map using Miro to represent my understanding of a current instructional design trend in the textbook, Trends and Issues in Instructional Design and Technology.
I chose the trend, "Changing Conceptions of Design". First, I explored various concept mapping tools, familiarizing myself with Miro’s features and usability. I then identified 3-5 key concepts related to this trend, along with 2-3 subtopics under each major idea. I considered the implications of these concepts on instructional technology, outlining the impact each one has on the field. I also provided examples for each concept, drawing from both the course resources and my own experiences. Using Miro, I organized these ideas visually, ensuring the map effectively communicated the relationships between the concepts.
